Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-08-31

These terms govern your use of the G-Tunnel hosted services operated at gtunnel.dev, including the relay servers, the account console (console.gtunnel.dev), HTTP endpoints published under *.app.gtunnel.dev, relay TCP ports, and the desktop client distribution. The open-source clients and server software themselves are provided under their respective licenses in the GitHub repository and are not covered by this document.

1. The service

G-Tunnel provides network tunneling: a hosted relay that forwards traffic between your client and visitors of your published endpoints. We offer free and paid plans with different resource quotas (number of host prefixes, TCP ports, and bandwidth). The service is provided on a best-effort basis; the free tier carries no availability guarantee (SLA).

2. Accounts and credentials

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to publish, relay, or distribute any of the following:

See also our Abuse Reporting Policy for how violations are handled and how to report them.

4. Fair use of resources

Bandwidth, connection counts, and endpoint quotas are limited per plan. Sustained usage that degrades service for other users, automated mass-scanning of the platform, or resale of the service without a written agreement may result in throttling or suspension.

5. Your responsibility for exposed services

You are solely responsible for the services and content you expose through the tunnels, for securing the local services behind them, and for compliance with the laws applicable to you and your visitors. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service.

6. Availability and changes

We may modify, limit, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. Feature and quota changes will generally be announced on the website. Endpoints under app.gtunnel.dev are provided without warranty of uninterrupted operation.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — in clear cases of abuse (phishing, malware, illegal content) without prior notice. Upon termination on your request, we delete your account data from the console.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for data loss or business interruption resulting from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the current version lives on this page with its "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
